It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood – Professional Development Forums – Institute of Land Warfare Events | The United States Army

I had the opportunity to discuss Kansas State University’s College of Education Military ED-OPS program at the AUSA conference. It starts at 47:45min in this video. We are one of the Operation Educate the Educators Universities that are leading the way.  The strong ties to the Military is nothing new at Kansas State University, so becoming part of this initiative was a natural step forward for the College of Education. We have trained teachers that are teaching in all 50 states and 48 countries and with Military-connected students in every school district in this country and Department of Defense schools around the world we knew we could make a difference in the education of these kids. As professional development materials are developed we share them freely via our website http://coe.k-state.edu/about/military/index.html .
